So, on the agenda today:
- SAT scores + College
- Bandwagoning
- People that irritate me
- Diablo 3 at my school
- Any remaining thoughts.
I received my SAT scores today, I was hoping I’d be one of those people to get an amazing score the first time. Sadly, no. I earned myself a humble 1410. At least I qualify for that art school I want to go to. I want to do the film program at UArts, and I’m already more than enough qualified for a position. My portfolio consists of videos I made last year though, so next year I’ll be working on something cool and exciting, and having fun at the same time. Yeah, yeah, people might say my major is shit tier, but who cares? I’m doing something I enjoy.
Bandwagoning. When it’s sports related, I hate it. When a giant swarm of people start liking it, I avoid it, e.g., The Hunger Games, The Avengers. I seriously like finding things through other people on my own. Or start at the origin where the bandwagon departed from, and catch up. Just because everyone and their mom saw The Avengers, everyone is now a Marvel fan. It doesn’t work that way. There’s more to the movie. I guess I’ve just been seeing it happen more recently around my school with so many things. Just a thought.
I’m pretty cool with people. I don’t care what they do unless it somehow affects me. But now that I’ve had almost 3 years worth of experience in High School, things are starting to look strange. People to me are starting to become even more stupid by the minute. They’re easily influenced, and rely too much on the people around them to make choices for them. Also, people tend to bitch too much about things. I never really complain about things like school work, unless it somehow claws it’s was into my plans. Overall, I deal with stuff. There’s nothing I can do about school, I should just suck it up and hope I do my best.
Today there was an announcement at my school. Anyone who has Diablo 3 installed on their computer will be quarantined and banned from the school district’s network. Kind of weird if you ask me. Is it the ports? What kind of information is being transfered while playing Diablo? Is it the DRM? Or is my school district too stupid to work around a simple technical problem?
Wow, this really seems to work out. Compiling all my thoughts to one entry is really efficient. Now onwards, to finish a project!
